This beautiful white perforated metal balustrade in residential backyard in Sydney is the finishing touch to the renovation of this Federation-style home in Sydney’s Inner West.
Arrow Metal produced the perforated metal panels for architect Frank Mangione, who was project managing the ambitious residential renovation.

Arrow Metal manufactured the perforated metal balustrade and privacy screening to order, to exact specifications designed to complement the period property and its heritage.
Instead of standard round perforations, each panel was perforated with a square design in keeping with the existing architecture.
Aluminium panels 2mm thick were precisely cut to size for a guaranteed fit on site. Specialist machinery then perforated each panel with 20mm square holes in a 35mm straight pitch (Pattern 432).
Panels were finished in a powder coating of white satin for a modern twist on traditional style, before being delivered direct to the property for installation by Frank and his team.
The perforated metal balustrade was installed throughout the exterior of the home, with additional panels used around the outdoor seating area, giving privacy and seamless style to the entire block.
Perforated metal was specified for the Sydney property thanks to its durability, scope of perforation design and maintenance-free finish for its owners.
With endless perforation options, including custom architectural designs, perforated metal is becoming an increasingly on-trend choice for interior and exterior residential renovations. Popular uses inside the home include staircases, balustrade, furniture and screening.
The Inner West home is a real showcase for perforated metal and its use in residential developments, resulting in a home its owners can be proud of for many years to come.
