An unattractive concrete car park in Cabramatta’s bustling Dutton Lane is now a striking, modern feature after we perforated soffit panels to upgrade the outdated exterior.

Installed to cover pedestrian lighting, our panels create a sleek, backlit canopy that connects the car park with the vibrant market precinct. 

Soffit Panels: Instant Modernisation For Old Urban Design

The Dutton Lane car park project is a great example of how perforated metal can instantly revitalise and uplift outdated city spaces and environments, without costly structural changes.

The new soffit panels add a contemporary visual element that complements the old concrete structure, while providing soft-glow lighting at night through clever use of orange-coloured inserts.

We manufactured the perforated soffit panels in 3mm aluminium. Durable, lightweight, and corrosion-resistant, aluminium is ideal for high-traffic, exposed urban environments and installations that need minimal maintenance.

As visual impact was key to the lighting design, pattern 2320 was the clear choice – a mixed round-hole profile of different diameters, exclusively designed by Arrow Metal. The result is a wow-factor feature that enhances safety, functionality, aesthetics, and long-term value of an old urban asset.
