Sports clubs are the heart of Aussie community life – and now local teams playing at Kingsgrove Avenue Reserve have a hub to be proud of with the opening of a brand-new amenities block that features Arrow Metal perforated ceiling panels.

The state-of-the-art building, featuring accessible toilets, bubbler station, first aid room, meeting room, canteen, and storage, has transformed the popular reserve into a fully functional base that’s the perfect match for local sports teams and users.

Arrow Metal perforated ceiling panels are a star player in the new building’s design, helping to keep spectators and officials comfortable and shaded while adding a modern architectural element.

Perforated Ceiling Panels Create A Cooler Experience

The perforation pattern for Kingsgrove Avenue Reserve’s amenities is P234 – one of our classic round-hole. Specifying perforated ceiling panels instead of solid coverings produced significant benefits for the project, including:

• Shelter and ventilation – the perforations maximise natural airflow to reduce heat build-up – essential for warm weather games
• Improved lighting – natural light is softened and diffused, minimising glare yet keeping the space bright
• Better acoustics – the perforated ceiling panels absorb sound, controlling echoes and making noisy match days more comfortable for all spectators.

We manufactured the perforated ceiling panels in 3mm aluminium, with panels finished in Dulux Nickel Pearl Matt, a pale, modern shade that complements the block’s sleek brick-and-tile exterior.
