What’s the best option for fast perforated metal delivery?

Ordering an in-stock product is the fastest option if you have a short lead time and need quick delivery of perforated metal. Your product will be dispatched the next working day from our Silverwater factory, if your order is received and paid for before midday.

Our in-stock perforated metal range is extensive and includes the most popular round and square perforated metal profiles which are always in demand. Options range from 1.6mm to 19mm round holes and 8mm and 11.1mm square holes in staggered and straight pitch, in a choice of metals including aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel and pre-galvanised steel.

How long does made-to-order perforated metal take?

Made-to-order products are manufactured to your exact specifications. Current lead times at Arrow Metal for made-to-order profiles is 2.5 to 3 weeks, based on our current machinery capacity. You will be kept up to date on the progress of your order by our team.

Made-to-order profiles include customised standard perforations – for example with a different open area percentage or pitch – and shapes such as hexagon, oblong or round-end slot. Decorative perforated brass is also a made-to-order product.

What is the lead time for customised bespoke perforated metal?

Creating customised perforated metal can take a number of weeks, because of all the different stages involved. All bespoke perforated metal orders are made using CAD technology and software-controlled tooling machinery for exact replication and precision perforation of your design into metal.

The process includes CAD drawing creation, design approval, design changes, sample approval and adding any bespoke finishes or folding.

We will send you an all-inclusive, transparently priced quote for your customised perforated metal design, so you can make informed buying decisions effectively. Your quote will outline when you can expect product delivery.

How much time is added on for finishes, colours and effects?

All of the perforated metal products we make can be further customised once tooled, with colours, durable finishes, metallic effects and folding. This typically adds a week to order timescales. Our range of finishes include powder coating and anodising.
