Apartment building 342 Bay Street is making waves in Brighton Le Sands thanks to Arrow Metal, which created a custom curvy perforated building metal facade for the boutique block.
The fluid facade was designed by Tony Owen Architects, with the aim of soaking up both the beautiful beach views and solar access.
The facade for 342 Bay Street was laser-cut using Arrow Metal’s specialised techniques and tooling process, which can be configured to create hundreds of perforation designs and bespoke patterns.
Both decorative and functional, the unique wave design of the facade floods each luxury beachside apartment with natural light, whilst maximising the beautiful water and district views.
Using the latest innovative manufacturing methods and considerable design expertise, Arrow Metal can custom-create beautiful bespoke perforated metal facades in even the most complex patterns.
With an extensive choice of perforations, sizes and materials – from steel to aluminium, brass and copper – perforated metal facades can control a building’s environmental elements including light, airflow, heat and sound.
Offering much more than just architectural appearance, perforated metal facades combine contemporary architectural style with durable product performance.
