Here’s a quick overview of the types of patterns and profiles we have available for immediate shipping:
In-stock aluminium perforated metal
Our in-stock aluminium perforated metal is grade 5005, a medium-strength metal that’s an all-rounder for most architectural uses, because of its good corrosion resistance and suitability for perforation, welding and anodising. It’s available in panel thickness of 1.6 mm, 2 mm or 3 mm and in round or square shape.
If you’re after round hole aluminium perforated metal, P210 is our smallest size profile featuring 2.4 mm staggered holes. For larger size holes, choose P252 (12.7 mm diameter) or P258 (19 mm). For square patterns, we have P418 – a straight arrangement in 11.1 mm square size.
Stock stainless steel perforated metal
We have both 304 and 316 grade stainless steel perforated panels ready to ship, in round hole pattern. 304 stainless steel is suitable for most everyday applications, whilst 316 is suited to projects in corrosive environments. Panel thickness ranges from 0.55 mm up to 2 mm, depending on which grade of stainless steel you need.
Pattern choices include P208, a fine perforation with 2 mm holes. And P226 – one of our most popular standard round shape profiles with 4.8 mm holes. If you need a perforated panel with a large solid area, try P214, which has just 11% open area percentage.
In-stock pre-galvanised perforated steel
Pre-galvanised steel is steel that has a zinc coating already applied, to protect against corrosion. Pre-galvanised steel offers long-life durability. We have pre-galvanised perforated steel panels in a range of patterns and panel sizes ready to ship, with the greatest choice of patterns in panel 1.6 mm thickness.
In-stock perforated mild steel panels
Mild steel is a type of steel that’s known as ‘mild’ or ‘low carbon’ because it has a low carbon content. It’s a very strong metal but is also malleable and easy to machine, making it great for perforation and use in construction and architecture.
Our in-stock perforated mild steel panels are available in one to three mm thickness, in a range of round hole 2 mm to 19 mm diameter as well as standard square shape.
Special perforations: Raised hole perforated panels
We also have raised hole perforated metal panels ready to ship. These types of perforated panels are ideal for flooring and safety, combining anti-slip and drainage properties. Profile P520 features 14 mm diameter raised holes and 6.4 mm drain holes, and is available in pre-galvanised steel and stainless steel.
