Perforated metal for events
Is perforated metal the ideal partner for your next event? It’s a great versatile material to make a show-stopping first impression. Whether you customise it as a backdrop for the ultimate branded photo opp or use it to make artistic creations, perforated metal for events is used in all sorts of innovative ways.
At Arrow Metal we work with event planners, creatives, artists and designers, using our expertise and collaborative approach to help bring even the most complex creative idea to life.
Just take a look at some of these amazing uses of Arrow Metal perforated metal for events, from Myer’s festive Wonderland to Vogue’s annual business bash:
Perfect canvas for artistic events: Stitch in Tile exhibition
Using perforated metal as a weaving canvas was the ingenious idea of needlework artist Natalie Fisher. Natalie specialises in full-scale tapestry creations. She used Arrow Metal perforated metal to create a highly-detailed, 3D textile replica of a Moroccan courtyard for her latest exhibition, A Stitch in Tile.
We supplied Natalie with the perfect sized panels for the arched doorways, precision perforated and cut to exact specifications. Weaving the wool through the holes took over three weeks to complete!
Fashionable event branding: Vogue Codes Summit
Style bible Vogue is always ahead of the trends and making an entrance was easy for guests at their Vogue Codes Summit. We custom created a sophisticated and stylish black perforated metal wall, finished with Vogue branding, for the annual business event.
We worked closely with event organisers Jay Productions & Events, turning around the bespoke backdrop in a very tight timescale of just three days.
Shining event displays: Pandora DO jewellery launch
We added an extra touch of sparkle to Pandora’s DO jewellery launch, creating bespoke perforated metal display stands to showcase the collection.
Once again working in collaboration with Jay Productions & Events, the stands were made for the media unveiling of the new range, ensuring the jewellery took centre stage in an intricate and delicate display that perfectly matched the brand.
Seasonal event sculptures: Christmas Wonderland at Myer
Colour-changing clouds made Christmas magical for Myer shoppers. Light artists Ruth McDermott and Ben Baxter tasked our team with helping them bring the wondrous installation to life: Five large 2mx3m cumulus and three small nimbus clouds, through which shoppers would travel to the store’s interactive toy department.
We perforated the metal panels to form the clouds, in a pattern that maximised the colour changing, dreamy light flow from white to blues, purples and pinks.
