To get started on your quote, here’s a quick overview of some of the basics we need to know and more information about how we can help make your 2024 projects successful.
Make a perforated metal quote request: What information do we need?
We create your quote based on the specifics of your project. For an accurate quote, let us know:
- Metal type: We perforate a wide range of metals, including aluminium, brass, steel, stainless steel, and galvanneal. Ask us for advice on the best metal type for your project, as some metals may be more suitable than others based on factors such as strength requirements, environmental considerations, and exposure to corrosive conditions. Please refer to perforated metal specification table.
- Metal thickness: Standard sizes range from the thinnest 0.5mm to 5mm, depending on the metal type. Remember, however, that perforation pattern may influence the thickness, as will strength or weight-bearing requirements – the thicker the panel, the stronger it is.
- Sheet sizes: Our state-of-the-art machinery can punch sheets up to 5m in length, which can be invisibly and seamlessly joined to create extra-large installations, such as for facades, without compromising the pattern. Ask us how!
- Pattern type: Our design collection ranges from in-stock standard patterns to made-to-order geometric designs, exclusive profiles, and PixelPerf™ custom-made creations. In-stock sheets are a quick and cost-effective solution for tight timescales, ready for dispatch the next working day. Made-to-order patterns are customised to your project’s exact requirements, adapting the open area percentage and hole size. Whilst PixelPerf™ customisation expertly replicates photographs, images, logos, and drawings in perforated metal, right down to the smallest detail. Browse our latest brochure here for pattern inspiration and explore our projects.
- Finish type: We offer an extensive range of finishes from colours and coatings to special weathered effects. Match brand or scheme colours or choose a contrasting shade backed with a colour guarantee. We also work with leading colour manufacturers such as Dulux to make bespoke shades if required.
- Special cutting, folding, or bending: Do the panels need to curve or be cut a certain way? For instance, you may need the panels to fold for window screening, to have unperforated solid margin areas, or to bend as balustrade for curving stairs.
- Delivery postcode: All panels are hand-inspected and carefully packaged before being shipped directly to you by our trusted couriers, ready for installation.
We will get back to you with a quote once we have all the details and will contact you for any additional information. If project specification changes, just let us know.
